Hydroclimatology at Rutgers

There are some excellent resources for climate modeling, climate geophysics and hydroclimate research and related activities at Rutgers.  The Atmospheric Sciences program (the dept where I did my PhD & MS) continues to spearhead cutting edge research in applied climate and geophysical modeling, nonlinear dynamics, and Earth system physics through collaborations with NASA GISS (which supported my PhD research) and NOAA GFDL

The department has also organized a research effort specifically around the theme of Hydroclimatology.  As changes in the Arctic become more pronounced in the coming years, Rutgers stands to contribute a tremendous amount towards the better understanding the this key region in the Earth's climate system.
